Hotel Nutibara

The Hotel Nutibara was the first hotel in the city, dating back to the 1940s and is not only a place to stay, but also a building that invites you to a cultural tour in the heart of Medellín, where you can immerse yourself in its rich history and elegant architecture.    

This emblematic building has been in service for 78 years and is considered Cultural and Architectural Heritage of the city. It was designed by the Belgian architect Agustín Goovaerts and built between 1939 and 1945. Its architectural style combines neoclassical and art deco influences; It provides a very vintage atmosphere and still preserves elements of the period, which gives it a special charm.  

It is located in the center of the city, exactly on Calle 52 A # 50 – 46, in front of Plaza de Botero, where the sculptures of Fernando Botero, the Museum of Antioquia, the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture are located, among other sites of great tourist importance in Medellín.  

In addition to the more than 150 rooms it has, the Nutibara Hotel offers its visitors underground access through a tunnel that leads to a cellar and a bar. Furthermore, on its top floor it has an imposing terrace that provides an unmissable view. From the center of the city.
