Pueblito Paisa

Located on one of the city's tutelary hills, Cerro Nutibara, Pueblito Paisa stands as a faithful representation of what an Antioquia town is.

This traditional place was inaugurated in 1978 and was built with elements and materials from the ancient town of eastern Antioquia El Peñol, which was flooded to form the El Peñol-Guatapé reservoir.

Throughout its history it has had different renovations. The most current occurred between 2019 and 2020, in order to align the space with Medellín's commitment to being an eco-city, promoting green areas and more sustainable mobility.

El Pueblito Paisa is one of the most visited tourist sites in the city that combines three unmissable elements in the Antioquia tradition: the crafts, gastronomy and architecture of the place.

With an area of 33 hectares and a height of 80 meters above the city level, this place offers its visitors one of the most spectacular views of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley.
